Arsene Wenger has reportedly held talks with Blaise Matuidi, and is ready to wrap up a deal... Arsenal are close to wrapping up the signature of Blaise Matuidi. The 22-year-old French midfielder is ready to leave St. Etienne, and recently expressed his admiration for Arsenal's style of play. Now, according to The Mirror, The Gunners are closing in on a deal, with Arsene Wenger having held talks with Matuidi yesterday. It is believed that he will cost in the region of £2.5million. Matuidi has also attracted the interest of Tottenham and Everton, but he has made it clear that Arsenal is his first choice.
